The Britannic Explorer, A Belmond Train, U.K. Appoints Hendrik Huebner As General Manager

28 JANUARY 2025 – The Britannic Explorer, A Belmond Train, U.K. announces the appointment of Hendrik Huebner as General Manager, effective immediately. Hendrik’s experience spanning almost two decades, innovative vision, and deep passion for luxury travel make him ideally suited to lead the launch of England and Wales’s first luxury sleeper train, set to debut on 5th July 2025.  With an impressive career that includes leadership positions at renowned establishments such as Claridge's, Hotel Café Royal and Corinthia London, Hendrik brings a wealth of experience, customer insights, and an exceptional track record in the luxury hospitality industry. His expertise will be crucial in shaping the extraordinary guest experience aboard this iconic new train. In this pivotal role, Hendrik will spearhead the creation of a world-class team and lay the groundwork for the Britannic Explorer's long-term success, starting with its inaugural season.
