La Piscina, A Caruso Pool Club has officially launched as the first private luxury pool club on the Amalfi Coast. This exclusive destination will redefine luxury poolside leisure with a curated day-to-night program of experiences and events, providing guests with endless moments of joy and relaxation amidst a breathtaking backdrop, suspended between sea and sky. Launching at Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, the pool club will welcome guests with a newly restyled infinity pool with scenic coastline views and a sophisticated new design that blends modern architecture with the hotel's original 11th-century palatial decor. Guests can look forward to brand-new private cabanas for families and friends, as well as an enticing schedule of wellness and gastronomic experiences centred around ozio creative.

LA PISCINA PRESENTS OZIO CREATIVO: FROM SIGHT-JOGGING TO CINEMA NIGHTS, DITIRAMBO AND ASTRONOMY

Embracing the intrinsically Italian concept of Villeggiatura, which celebrates the endless Italian summer vacation, La Piscina will serve as a sanctuary of relaxation and serenity. Here, guests can totally disconnect from the world and embrace a new, slower pace of travel. La Piscina’s dawn-to-dusk programming has been centred around ozio creativo -- the Italian term that epitomises the art of being well and mindful practices that inspire a creative mindset. From tranquil mornings invigorating the body with a sunrise yoga practice or sight-jogging around Ravello, guided by a personal trainer; to painting, pasta or limoncello-making classes; or strolling around Caruso's immaculate Mediterranean terraced gardens on a guided tour, La Piscina offers endless nourishment for both body and soul. After a slow sun-drenched afternoon sipping on locally crafted cocktails, admiring the infinite views from the comfort of a sunbed, or winding around hidden coves and rugged caves on a boat tour, evenings at La Piscina can be spent stargazing led by an astronomy expert, enjoying monthly cinema nights at Ravello highest’s peak or taking a moonlit midnight swim. Paying homage to La Dolce Vita, the pool club redefines poolside luxury with the introduction of two new cabanas, each accommodating up to two in-house guests or day visitors. These cabanas are available for all-day use offering unmatched scenic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and for spa treatments, surrounded by the fragrant scents of the blossoms, pines and lemon trees. These exclusive cabanas include a welcome glass of local sparkling wine and fresh fruit selection, dedicated butler service, credit for lunch at the Caruso Grill and Pool Bar, and access to bespoke amenities.

LA DIETA MEDITERRANEA: THE ART OF MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE

Whether relaxing at La Piscina or dining on Caruso’s outdoor terrace at fine dining Ristorante Belvedere, guests will enjoy Executive Chef Armando Aristarco’s culinary creations inspired by local provenance, showcasing products from the Amalfi and Cilento coasts. At the Caruso Grill, La Dieta Mediterranea is at the heart of the menu, enriched by complimentary pizza, pasta and limoncello making classes, all Neapolitan classics. Special events will be hosted throughout the summer season, kicking off with the Ditirambo nights on 11 June, 2 July and 9 August 2025. Inspired by Greek tradition, these are a celebration of local customs where the producers of Cilento takeover the Caruso Grill and La Piscina to showcase their life's work and educate on the importance of La Dieta Mediterranea, a lifestyle deeply rooted in balance, seasonality and well-being. The evenings culminate in live orchestral percussion and dancing. La Piscina will also host monthly bartending nights culminating in midnight "spaghettata" where guests gather for a family-style late-night pasta feast.

CAMPANIAN CRAFTMANSHIP, REINTERPRETED AT LA PISCINA, FEATURING LIVIO DE SIMONE

 Embodying the spirit of Campania, La Piscina is a celebration of Mediterranean beauty, honouring tradition through collaboration with local artisans whose crafts have transcended generations. Regional artisans have been enlisted to preserve some of La Piscina's original features and decorative elements whilst incorporating distinctive colourful motifs, inspired by the 60s Mediterranean social scene. Notably, Livio de Simone’s design studio, renowned for their hand-painted fabrics and remarkable patterns, has added bespoke cushions covers and ceramics infusing vibrant layers to the classic terracotta that contrast beautifully with the hues of orange, brown, and cream on the sun loungers and umbrellas.

La Piscina is open daily to guests and visitors from 27 March until hotel closure on 26 October.
