New Spa & Wellness treatments support community initiatives at Belmond Jimbaran Puri

Belmond Jimbaran Puri has curated new spa and wellness treatments that provide guests with an authentic Balinese tropical spa experience while also supporting local organic agriculture. 

The new spa treatments are available at both The Beach Spa, with views over the beautiful Jimbaran beach, as well as in our recently introduced Pop-Up Spa.

The Beach Spa offers a wide range of luxurious treatments that combine modern techniques with ancient beauty rituals while the Pop-Up Spa offers guests true alfresco relaxation with treatments either on the beach or in our tranquil tropical gardens. The Pop-Up Spa includes a traditional Balinese massage followed by a 30-minute body scrub of choice to exfoliate the skin and restore harmony to the mind and body.  

The spa at Belmond Jimbaran Puri sources the organic ingredients directly from local communities including the luwak coffee farmers and the Kusamba salt farmers. 

Balinese Coffee Scrub
 

Made from finely ground local coffee and volcanic pumice from Bali’s sacred Mt. Agung, the Balinese Coffee Scrub smooths and refines the skin while revitalizing the spirit. 

Luwak Coffee Scrub

Belmond Jimbaran Puri only use beans that are genuinely from wild civets (Luwak); these beans are sustainably sourced from local farmers who forage the rain forests to ‘harvest’ the beans. The resort also works with a local company that helps coffee farmers enhance their skills to produce the highest-quality beans.
 

Kusamba Sea Salt
 

The Balinese Sea Salts are produced using the same traditional method as local farmers used over 700 years ago. The natural combination of soil, spring and saltwater on the coast of Kusamba produces a sea salt that has a nutrient and mineral profile  unique to Bali. Belmond Jimbaran Puri works with 30 groups of Kusamba salt farmers who produce the 100% organic and natural salts used in our scrubs.
