Open your eyes under the starry sky ceiling of the delightful Suite 67 created by acclaimed British designer Matthew Williamson in 2018. A true work of art in itself it oozes a rustic kind of decadence, featuring lively colours and playful designs. Enjoy an opulent breakfast on the pool terrace with its Palm Spring vibes…

Are you ready? Grab your new Matthew Williamson notebook to write down all interesting & fun facts you might learn today and go on a tour of the history-steeped hotel buildings. Just walking their corridors you will already be in awe looking at the 800 paintings belonging to the Sheridan collection that enhances its walls.

Get out your artistic side - Plein-Air art classes above the ocean

Make sure you have your walking shoes when you tackle the breathtakingly beautiful cliffs above the bay of Deià. In an amazing spot towering over the sea with endless views on the horizon and the afforested coastline, paintbrush in hand you will take part in a private Art class with the charming Manuella, a young, enthusiastic artist who lives in the enchanting village. It will be easy to feel inspired by the special Mediterranean light just like all the artists did who already came to this artistic hub of the island at the beginning of the 20th century!

With wind in your hair and a heart full of creativity you will also need to fill your stomach upon return. Join an exclusive Walk&Talk with the hotel´s curator Cecilie Sheridan, a truly inspiring lady who will have a story or two to tell if she gets a word in when entering the houses of some of the most iconic artists who made Deià their home. Take La Residencia’s neighbor David Templeton for example who moved here in 1978 and will for sure engage you in conversation or even give you a taste of his musical talents being a member of the infamous Pa´amb Oli Band who plays at the hotel during their legendary Summer concert.
