hanna.bornebusch@belmond.comAUGUST 2025 – This October, the flavours of Mallorca take centre stage as La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, unveils its first-ever “Art of Flavours” culinary festival. From 3–4 October 2025, guests will embark on a two-day gastronomic journey celebrating award-winning chefs and the vibrant tastes of the Balearic Islands. Inspired by the festival's six-year success at Reid's Palace, A Belmond Hotel, Madeira, this debut Mallorca edition will bring the island's rich culinary heritage to life - a tapestry woven from its dramatic landscapes, Mediterranean bounty, and centuries of cultural influence.
THE STARS DINNER
On 3 October, the festivities commence with a spectacular evening: the six-course "Stars Dinner" uniting
two Michelin-starred chefs from Belmond properties and three chefs at the helm of distinguished
mainland Spain and Mallorcan restaurants. These leading names will join forces with Pablo Aranda, Head
Chef at El Olivo, La Residencia's acclaimed gastronomic restaurant, to create an unforgettable tasting
journey that combines exceptional cuisine with a magical setting. Perched above the enchanting village
of Deià, the restaurant offers sweeping views and a curated 6- or 10-course tasting menu that highlights
the best of Mediterranean and Mallorcan flavours, with dishes build around the island's freshest, locally
sourced ingredients.
