Belmond perpetuates the legendary legacy of Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, Venice with renowned architect Peter Marino, a longtime admirer of Venice and Chairman of the Venetian Heritage Foundation. His vision draws on three eras: the grandeur of Old Venice, the vibrant Dolce Vita of the 1950s and '60s, and the bold spirit of contemporary art and design. The 2025 season ushers in an elevated reimagining of the arrival experience with a new double-height, light-filled lobby – an inspired addition to the beloved original wooden reception. This phase also unveils thirteen redesigned rooms, including two Master Suites, Serenissima and Laguna, offering private salons, dining rooms, and panoramic lagoon views, and eleven Suites and Junior Suites with private balconies overlooking the Casanova Gardens. This initial reveal marks a transformative evolution of the hotel's identity, blending historic relevance with modern comfort and sophistication. As Peter Marino notes, the aim is to "rekindle the magic" of a place that has long welcomed the world's cultural elite and is an enduring symbol of Dolce Vita.
