Belmond celebrates the best of British with the launch of British Pullman's 'The Season'

This spring, British Pullman, a Belmond train, England toasts the British social season with the launch of four new journeys to some of society’s most prestigious events: Royal Ascot, Guards Polo Club’s Royal Windsor Cup Final, Glyndebourne and ‘Glorious Goodwood’.  

Transporting guests in style between London’s Victoria Station in the comfort and luxury of the storied vintage 1920s and 1930s carriages. Delectable cuisine is served by liveried stewards before arriving at the coveted events. 

TOAST THE SEASON AT ROYAL ASCOT WITH ​MOËT GRAND VINTAGE– 19th JUNE 2020

First out of the starting gates in 2020,  British Pullman heads to Royal Ascot  for the penultimate day of the legendary racing week. Rich with over 300 years’ worth of history and tradition, Royal Ascot is a celebrated week of racing and pageantry. This journey will be run in association with​​ Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage – the official champagne of Royal Ascot. 

The experience includes a Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage breakfast served on the way to the racecourse, followed by a Buffet Lunch served  in the Garden Club, tickets to the Queen Anne Enclosure and a light dinner on the return to London’s Victoria Station. 

STOMP THE DIVOTS AT GUARDS POLO CLUB– 21st June 2020 

On 21st June 2020, Belmond British Pullman is set to transport guests to the final of the prestigious ‘Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Windsor Cup’ at Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park. The Club is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year and the Royal Windsor Cup, played for since 1955, is regarded as one of the world’s leading tournaments. Her Majesty The Queen historically presents this coveted cup to the winning team and watches an elegant carriage driving display from the Club’s iconic Royal Box.  

The experience includes a Bellini breakfast served on the way to Windsor , a Champagne reception on arrival at the Club, a  three course lunch by Mosimann’s   in the Members’ Clubhouse, tickets to the polo and a light dinner on the return to London’s Victoria Station.  

ENJOY A FLUTTER AT QATAR GOODWOOD FESTIVAL 'GLORIOUS GOODWOOD’ – 31st July 2020 

The British Racing season is synonymous with elegance, glamour and tradition, which is perfectly encapsulated at  ‘Glorious Goodwood.’ - a highlight of  the social season. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Sussex countryside; the thrilling race day experience includes brunch served on the way to the racecourse, tickets for the races, and a three course dinner on the return journey.

CELEBRATE 250 YEARS OF BEETHOVEN AT GLYNDEBOURNE FESTIVAL– 7th AUGUST 2020

With 2020 marking 250 years since Ludwig van Beethoven’s birth, on 7th August, British Pullman will travel to the legendary Glyndebourne Festival for an exceptional performance of Beethoven’s only opera, Fidelio. This is the first new production of the opera at Glyndebourne in nearly twenty years.

On this journey, guests are invited to experience a three course brunch on the way to the opera, top price tickets to the performance of Fidelio and a nightcap and light snack on the journey home.  

Tickets for this journey are available exclusively to Glyndebourne members until 8th March 2020.
