Belmond unveils Airmail kiosk takeover, showcasing cultural publishing collaborations during Milan Design Week

Press release

4 April, 2025

Belmond will once again take over the iconic Airmail Kiosk in the heart of Milan’s Brera Design District, for the month of April with special activations during Milan Design Week 2025. As proud custodians of storied properties, Belmond is committed to building on the past to create new legacies through remarkable collaborations with renowned designers and cultural projects that encompass publishing, art curation and contemporary photography.

Belmond’s takeover of the Airmail Kiosk will present a one-stop-shop for its cultural publishing projects: the complete As Seen By and Recipes & Wanderings series alongside the latest issue of Mondes.

Upholding its commitment to contemporary culture and culinary excellence, Belmond will unveil its newest addition to its Recipes & Wanderings series created in collaboration with Apartamento: Campania: Recipes & Wanderings Across Italy’s Polychromatic Coast. Captured through the creative lens of Lea Colombo, and with contributions from renowned writers, the cookbook presents 21 classic dishes, many taken from the kitchens of Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, previously an 11th-century palace perched on the highest peak of the Amalfi Coast. Available to shop at the kiosk, the third edition in this collaborative series will be joined by the first and second volumes of the series: Liguria and Penang. The series celebrates the joys of meandering through culinary communities around the world with an artistic perspective.

The As Seen By collectible art book series, created in collaboration with Parisian art publishers RVB Books, will also be available at the kiosk. Each limited-edition art book presents a singular interpretation of a Belmond destination in collaboration with photographers, including Letizia LeFur, Stefanie Moshammer, Thomas Rousset, Coco Capitán and Rosie Marks. The As Seen by series offer fresh perspectives on travel and culture featuring captivating photography by renowned image makers.
