Tramuntana Grill, a gastro temple for design lovers

La Residencia is a haven for lovers of contemporary art, nature, and gastronomy, located in the artist village of Deià, between the Tramuntana Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. As an icon of exclusivity and elegance, the hotel is thrilled to announce the recent opening of the newly refurbished Tramuntana Grill. Designed by local studio, More Design, the poolside restaurant changed its face completely and oozes their signature touch: the wisdom of Mediterranean architecture transposed to the contemporary. The result is a fresh space that reflects the new Deià, a perfect symbiosis of local and natural spirit, elegant and relaxed, surrounded by a calm and refined atmosphere.

A GASTRONOMIC JOURNEY FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO THE SEA

Tramuntana Grill is the new 'place to be' of the season for a sunny lunch or a romantic evening with your loved one, as it is now also open at night to those not staying at the hotel (from May 10th). Smoky flavours blend with an elegant, bohemian ambience that reflects the local spirit and Belmond's savoir-faire.

Dishes are prepared with fresh fish and seafood, meats, and vegetables, all in the Josper oven, which is already a legend in the world of charcoal gastronomy. In addition, under the banner of local and seasonal products, with a Km 0 spirit. There is something for every taste at any time, whether it is lunch, afternoon snacks around the pool, or dinnertime. Prawns from Sóller, salads, sandwiches, Balearic cheese...and even EVOO from the olive trees of La Residencia. The menu of more than 50 local wines includes organic and international ones to toast, as well as a wide variety of cocktails and signature drinks to cool off with around the pool.

More Design's projects, led by Manuel Villanueva, revitalise spaces with a unique vernacular flavour, perfectly blending Mediterranean tradition with the contemporary.

"We wanted to go back to the origins and revive inherited techniques, taking inspiration from the island and all the historical part of its artisans," says Oro del Negro, one of the studio's directors. 

That is the reason why Tramuntana Grill is designed with local materials such as stone, iron, bamboo, and Mallorcan oak. As a result, the authentic restaurant with artisanal touches pays homage to Deià's artistic heritage and promises moments to be savoured.
